New Years Resolution #2
Keep only what you need.
Shed everything else.

It’s almost impossible to do schoolwork when I am so inspired. I want to be on my typewriter. I want to be in a 5 hour conversation with someone who feels what I feel. I want to be outside, screaming the things I’m thankful for.
I feel joy in my throat. I feel promise in my knees. Every part of my being is onboard now. I am on the right track right down to my capillaries.
I am exactly where I need to be, nowhere near...
I just realized that two years after I walked away from the dream, the scholarships and the place I thought I needed, I am no longer lost or wandering, trying to figure out what I want for myself. For now, I know exactly where I want to be. I don’t have to know the name to know what it will feel like. I don’t have to be there to know it exists.
